Melissa, right now, is not a happy bunny. The UWF are trying so desperately to get the Tag Titles away from her and Teagan before PWP’s Anniversary show, she’s currently all alone which is rare for her and she’s got two jacked up face painted jackasses trying to jump her at every turn
Melissa sat in her tour bus which for possibly the first time in history was quiet, empty even. Sipping a glass of wine with one hand while tapping the UWF Tag Team championship belt that lay across her lap with the other. Sitting on the table in front of her lay a small camera, it was obvious to anyone looking on what Melissa had on her mind
[MEL] So this is my video diary for PWP’s first anniversary show, not something I usually do but right now I’m sitting alone. Teagan’s back in the land of Aus till Thursday, Conrad is in Massachusetts for Apex, Mer is down in Washington checking out IWA before her debut, Vicky is… who knows where and here I sit in my hotel room in Oklahoma ready for Adrenaline tomorrow. So it’s a rare week when I’m all by myself, figured now would be a good time to talk about PWP
[MEL] So here’s the thing, UWF Deadly Game I win the Tag Titles with Teagan and rid the UWF of The Asylum, at least mostly, in the process and now The Illuminati show up. This has just caused me and Teagan to get one big massive headache. They fight us at PWP for their jobs back and for the titles, okay so yeah it was our idea for that to happen and it maaaaybe pissed off our UWF boss Glenn Legend but that doesn’t mean he has to try and kill me. Three days before this match with Illuminati, which happens regardless, I’m in a Comic Book TLC match, fighting on the side of Marvel against Justin Davis fighting for DC, okay so maybe it was a bad idea for me to accept Justin’s challenge for a TLC knowing that three days later I have to face The Illuminati but still, it’s UWF on Pay Per View, it’s in my contract to fight but low and behold as soon as The Tag Title match is announced as a Street Fight and as soon as Ace and Chase agree to stay away from UWF things change. Now T.M.I. have to defend the tag titles on the Pay Per View as well and I cant help but notice when that was announced it specifically stated that that match would take place following my TLC match
Melissa was looking increasingly more annoyed as every second of her video log passed
[MEL] Let’s call a spade a spade here, this is nothing but Legend stacking the odds so that we lose the belts before the PWP show. Sure, Illuminati still would fight for their jobs regardless but not for the titles. This isn’t just any match either, Legend took it upon himself to book a Triple Threat Tornado Tag match against The Reece Foundation and my ex-team We The Future, W.T.F. and I’m not gonna say otherwise and Teagan already knows this… Chances are I might not even make it to that match. The first team to score a fall leaves with the UWF Tag titles yet Teagan will likely have to go it alone, it’s bullshit politics by Legend who until now I’d never had an issue with… whatever, if we lose the titles before PWP we lose the titles, if by some miracle we win then Illuminati get what they want. It seems like no matter what happens the world is against T.M.I.
[MEL] But whatevs, Illuminati, you two crossed the line when you attacked me and Teagan after PWP 10, you had no business even walking through the PWP doors like you did. You had no business acting like bully boys just to get what you thought you were owed…
Melissa took the UWF Tag Team Championship belt from her lap and placed it on the table just in front of the camera. She pointed at the belts centre plate
[MEL] You two think you’re owed these? Bullshit. You two walked in to the UWF and were handed a title shot in what? Your second match? You won them from two people who couldn’t get along and hated each other then lost them to Team Titans, two people in love, a real team and then get all butt-hurt when you didn’t get a rematch? You expected everything to be to handed to you… fuck you Illuminati, you know how hard we worked for these? It took Teagan over a year to just get one shot at these titles, she’d lost only twice in that year, pinned only once, she didn’t get these belts handed to her. It took me just under a year, shy of a week to get a shot. I had to fight harder than I’ve ever fought in my life; I had to break out of the shadows of my older brother and twin sister to just become my own person. For twelve months we’ve fought and clawed our way to the top of the tag division and hell, to the top of the UWF. My brother and sister, they main evened UWF long before me but I was the most successful of the three. I broke those shadows and finally became their equals when I won these belts with Teagan and I refuse, I got damn refuse to let some jacked up, face painted, bully boy pieces of crap like you two but you know what? I don’t get it Illuminati, you have the tools, you have the skills to be top stars without taking these bully short cuts. You take one loss to Ramona and Atlas and you flip your shit? My first loss was to my future sister-in-law when she hated me and I’m not ashamed to admit she absolutely destroyed me, she kicked my ass from pillar to ring post but did I lose it? Did I flip my shit and get myself fired? No, I picked myself up, dusted myself off and took her title. You two could have done the same thing; you didn’t need to resort to show invasions, you’d have gotten your rematch if you’d just been patient. We didn’t have to do this Illuminati, we could have fought side by side, hell, I remember one show you actually had our backs against The Asylum… What happened to you guys?
[MEL] Whatever switch was flipped Illuminati you should have had the strength to flip it back but now you got what you want but there’s an old phrase that goes “be careful what you wish for” and it’s gonna reign true. We won these things in a Street Fight, we over came nine freaks to win them and we’re gonna overcome you too. Heed my words Illuminati, we’re gonna over come the odds at Midsummer Nightmare and then we’re you and make sure you don’t get your jobs back by bating you at the anniversary show. Now, to steal a line. Black Out!

The life of Teagan Cavenagh had been relatively great over the past few months. Not only had she become the UWF Overload! Champion but she also had become one half of the UWF Tag Team Champions and these two huge title victories were just in a week of one another. Teagan was therefore on top of the world, regardless of the fact that she and her partner / girlfriend, Melissa, were viciously assaulted by the Illuminati; the team that continued to attempt to make Teagan and Melissa's lives hell. They had continued to assault the two women in sneak attacks and thus, were often beat down and made to look weak in the eyes of most. However, T.M.I. were never a team to give up and regardless of the fact that they were being treated in such a terrible manner, the two continued to fight back. They weren't quitters and never intended to allow the likes of the Illuminati get what they wanted.
The two ladies were desperate to get through this match and somehow, prove that they were indeed the wrong team for the two to target. And whilst Teagan had spent a few days back home in her native Australia, she was back and ready for action... though, of course, that would NOT be easy. Over the course of her career, Teagan had been faced with a lot... she was usually fairly unlucky but honestly, she was feeling great with the way things had been going... until now, of course. For some reason, this challenge was one that she didn't appear to have a great grasp on and something was telling her it could all go downhill quickly.
We see the double champion Teagan herself, stood in an unknown location with Melissa beside her. Both held their halves of the UWF Tag Team Championships, and Teagan also had her Overload! gold around her waist. The two were visibly proud of what they had achieved together recently and that showed... along with initial concern over the match they found themselves in this week. Neither were able to quite wear the same smiles they would but this was also a look of determination... there was no way they would produce anything less than their very best this week.
Teagan: I can’t believe it’s come to this... I mean, I knew following ‘Nothing Like the First Time’, we’d be forced to face them eventually but... I was also unsure about the stipulations that came with it... the fact that we’re thrown into a Street Fight with those monsters and with the titles on the line?! That’s insane...
Melissa: We had all the support in the world with the likes of Eddie and Glenn attempting to halt this from occurring... there’s that at least.
Teagan: Well, they certainly tried to save our asses but unfortunately that’s just not worked out...
She pursed her lips together and seemed to be deep in thought, but that didn’t seem to work.
Teagan: ... who knows what kind of trouble we’re in now?!
Melissa: Hey, I know it’s intimidating alright, but don’t count us out yet, Teags! If you do, we’re pretty much done... if we go in already defeated, then it’s as if we’re walking towards a total death sentence...
Teagan: I know, I know... I don’t mean to. But I’ve just been trying to think of the uh... physics behind this, I guess. Those are two huuuuuuge guys. Huge muscular, strong, powerful guys who are like triple my size... how in the hell am I meant to do anything with that?!
She released a visibly frustrated sigh as she ran a hand through her hair.
Melissa: Hey, leave the strength up to me. It’s tough, sure... I mean, I can’t even guarantee I can hang with them in my department but I’ll sure as hell attempt it! You use your speed to your advantage... that’s what you bring to the table and that’s what is going to bring the Illuminati down.
Teagan attempted a light smile as she slowly nodded her head.
Teagan: You sure?
Melissa: Of course! You can trust me, Teags... you know you can! I've already just told the world I know we can do this, don't undo all of that!
Teagan nodded her head again, this time with a little more conviction.
Teagan: I know... I know you're right, Mel. But it's so hard to get my mind focused right now. I also know that there's nothing to worry about... maybe I am right to worry but you're also right in that there's no point in that... it's hardly going to help the matter, is it? I guess it's just because this is a huge PWP show as well, not just any ol' show, it's the 1-year anniversary... that's a big damn deal. I mean, this is the show that the world is going to remember forever and I sure as hell don't want it to be associated with the night we got our asses completely handed to us! With all the momentum we've gained recently, we can hardly let that all go now, just because some giant freaks somehow stole a title shot unfairly! I don't want that, Mel!
Again, she couldn't help but release a heavy.
Teagan: We've been through so much recently so maybe it's just the pressure getting to me a bit now. But at the same time, my confidence has soared over the past few months so it shouldn't bother me but I look at the two guys we're about to step into the ring with... it's almost impossible but we've got to be up for the challenge, I suppose... what else can we do? Neither of us are the kind of person to give up and walk away from any sort of challenge so we sure as hell can't start doing that now.
Melissa: That's the spirit. We can't let them psych us out before the match. Sure, it'd be easy to let that happen but it's not going to happen. Plus, what in the hell did the two of those freaks do to earn a shot at us in the first place? We need to prove to them that they can't just bully their way into a title shot and they sure as hell just can't walk over us! Point is, we earned these titles fair and square and they sure as hell did not. And I know for a fact that is going to show when we step into the ring with them. They'll realize that and heck, they sure as hell will when it's T.M.I having their hands held high when all is said and done.
It seemed as though a mini-pep talk from Melissa helped a great deal for Teagan as she succeeded in understand precisely what Melissa was saying. No... on paper, T.M.I stood no chance against the Illuminati... but then again, the same was said about the Asylum and what happened with that? Teagan and Melissa found a way around it and therefore succeeded where they needed to. The two were passionate and the two were smart... that is what set them aside from most other teams in the industry and that is what made them stand out. This was also a prime example of the two working well together and proving that they had one another's backs no matter what. They each refused to let the other fall and they would forever stand side by side as one hell of a team. When one was down, the other would pick them straight back up.
Teagan: Okay, sure, it's the toughest challenge we've been a part of but we always stick together and watch each other's backs... we're a much better, more renowned team with more to offer... I just need to get my head more in the game.
She inhaled a sharp breath but she transitioned her expression into a more positive one, with a smile growing on her lips.
Teagan: I guess I just needed that... we can get through this, Mel... of course we can. What haven't we been able to get through? Of course, if for whatever reason, we do happen to lose, then I know that wouldn't be the end of the world but it'll definitely be frustrating as hell...
... but we've got this, Mel... we have to. We've been beat up, torn apart and pretty much destroyed in the ring before. We're still standin' no matter what so let's get on with this...
Melissa: These are two men we KNOW are dangerous... we've damn sure felt it. But we can be just as dangerous Teags... and you know it.
To confirm that she did indeed 'know it', Teagan nodded her head, slightly narrowing her eyes in the process. Of course, Melissa was correct. Why would she not be? Both seemed to be very talented at motivating the other at any cost... and if there was a need for a bit of a confidence boost, it would certainly be this week. |

The Illuminati Order is not something you "join" for the sake of joining, not something that exists to give you status or a secret identity to make you feel good about yourself, or to allow you to solve the "puzzle of life" in the manner of an amateur mathematician or a detective. Joining the Illuminati is a transformative experience. Neither money, status, celebrity, fame, prestige, nor any other of the "golden" attributes of our shallow, materialistic and consumerist society can secure a person admission to the Illuminati. Equally, many good and honourable people who have many of the right qualities we look for are also unable to join since they are simply not ready in terms of the criteria we apply.
The room is dimly light two shadows can be seen on the wall, fog is beginning to raise from the floor. The shadows move out of the darkness and you see two rather large men with black face paint on. They both just stand there looking into the darkness without blinking.
Chase: PWP we have not been formerly introduced to you. We are the Anderson twin brothers. We are better known as The Illuminati. We come from parts that most of your mortal men and women of this company would not understand. We come to know because the higher powers have told us that PWP need us to awaken and take out all of the none super humans.
Ace: PWP you do not apologize for invading your show. And you should not blame us. You should blame the man named Eddie Kassidy GM of UWF. You see we brought our great powers to the UWF and quickly won the tag team titles form the none super humans that held them. We made a path of destruction in UWF and we could not be stopped.
Chase: That was until Kassidy decided to leave us off card after card. The tag team champions the most dominate force they have seen in years was being shelved. We could not and would not get an answers to way. But we know what it was, the shear mortals like Kassidy could not understand or handle the ways of the Illuminati. They did not know how to handle such great powers that we possess.
Ace: The UWF forced us apon Jason Atlas and Ramona. They gave them a shot at our titles and the UWF refs screwed us out of the titles. Now they would not grant us our rematch, instead they gave title shots to others while the great Illuminati had to sit back and watch. So we began to take matters into our own hands and the UWF did not like our ways. They did not like that fact that we were being noticed and wanted our rematch.
Chase: We continued week in and week out to be heard. Make sure that the UWF would be forced to give us what we wanted. Give us what indeed was rightfully ours in the tag team title shot. But no Kassidy had other plans. So instead of giving us our rematch he fired us. No warning, no anything. Kassidy was proof that when you put greatness in front of them like the Illuminati they just cannot understand they things that they are something.
The fog begins to roll up the walls and around the Anderson brothers faces, the lights begin to flicker as the two brothers are still standing there motionless.
Ace: That is where the PWP comes into play. We knew that T.M.I. were indeed in turn to be fighting for the UWF Tag Team Titles. Now we knew for a fact what kind of team they are and that having the higher powers that we do, that they would win the titles. Since we are then bared from the UWF it was PWP were the message had to be heard. The Illuminati would not rest until the UWF tag team titles were once again in the hands of their rightful owners.
Chase: And now here we sit with a PWP contract to fight T.M.I. in a street fight for the UWF tag team titles. This proves that Kassidy is not a superhuman, he let the biggest tag team match most possibly every in the history of the UWF slip through his fingers and into another companies hands. The powers above work their magic and now here in the PWP we will win back our titles.
Ace: Not only that we will win back our contract to the UWF. We will once again bring the mighty powers of the Illuminati back to the UWF. No before that happens we know that we must take down Melissa and Teagan, or as call them T.M.I. Dispite our great powers and great abilities, we do know that there is only one task and that is to beat them. To be to the level that they are going to bring into this PWP show to keep their titles. To try and keep us out of the UWF for good.
Chase: We know that the two of these women our great in their own right. We sat back and watched as they took on a whole nation the freaks. But let it be known that they are not the Illuminati. They done not hold the powers that we do. They are not part of the thirteen families of the higher powers. T.M.I. the type of match does not matter, because the Illuminati has been given the right to be the champions once more.
The fog has filled the room, you can barely see the brothers faces at this point they begin to sway back in forth in the fog and the dime light continues to flicker.
Ace: The Illuminati encourage skepticism. We do not seek sheep. We seek those who can apply their critical faculties and see beyond the delusions and lies of the old. We know that people look at us with confuse and disbelief and that is fine, because these are the people that will never become superhuman. We came to the UWF and everyone looked at us and said that we would not be able to hang and those people are all sheep. They follow the norm they see something different and quickly discount and discourage that. Because they don’t have the mental state to understand what they are seeing. These are the same people that drove us to have to come to PWP to fight for their tag team titles. As you look apon us the question you should be asking T.M.I. are you going to be sheep?
Chase: That answer is clearly yes. They are on the dissolutions of being able to hurt us. But the body is just a case for the true superhuman that lays under it. That T.M.I. you could never hurt. The Body is just for show, but lays underneath can never be reach. T.M.I. fits the bill of the sheep the followers of many. As you have seen they do what they are told and we write and make our own path. The Illuminati code is the only code that we follows.
Ace: T.M.I. you have been placed in the path of the superhuman known as the Illuminati, know you must pay the greatest price that there is to pay. You have to sacrifice the UWF tag team titles now to the real superhuman. We have stated before that our only mission in UWF was riding those that did not belong in the UWF. To get rid of the filth that filled the halls and we began our path.
Chase: T.M.I. we are not trying to eliminate you, but your title reign will be eliminated. You both our a staple in the UWF, but that does not change the fact that you are in the way of the vision of the Illuminati. In the way of the plan that has been laid out of the New World Order that we are leading into the wrestling world. It started in the UWF and now it has been moved to the PWP. But the message is still the same and that will never change.
Ace: The ways of the old are over. The new order is coming once again. The first chapter has been written and now it is time to start the second and T.M.I. you are in the first paragraph of it. The Street fight is only a matter of days away. Only a matter of time before we are once again battle tested and prove why we are hyperhumans.
The fog disappears all in a single moment and the lights are now bright as the two brothers stand there.

People don't like the unadorned real. We're always looking for patterns that make sense: easy-to-understand cause and effect. Even when we look at the clouds, we imagine we're seeing definite shapes (like faces or animals) rather than amorphous blobs. We can't help ourselves - our minds are wired that way. When we can't find obvious cause and effect, we're left baffled. Even distressed. But our anxiety is relatively easy to cure. We simply invent an appropriate cause and effect and impose it on the problematic situation. The more cause and effect we can cram in, the happier we are. We feel we are understanding the world. We resist the notion that the truth, in a form we can grasp, is not out there. There must be some comprehensible pattern of cause and effect that explains everything.
The Anderson brothers are standing outside of the Quicken Loans Arena. The brothers dressed in business suits, but still have that good old face paint one they both are looking over the arena.
AA: Cleveland, Ohio is will be the first of PWP events to bear witness to the power of the Illuminati. To witness true greatness being unleashed in front of them. I guess you can consider us much like your King James. We were part of a great company, wanted the taste of a title and got it. It was soon after that we wanted a taste of more of that title, we had to chase it elsewhere much like King James in him going to Miami just to get a title. Now we have had to chase the UWF tag team titles to the PWP.
CA: For two months now we have chased, beaten, destroyed and tract down the UWF Tag Team Titles. We have followed them around the world and back just to get the rightful rematch for the titles that we deserve. It should not have taken us all this time. It should not have cost us the contracts at UWF to get what we are about to receive here in PWP. We have proven in our short time in the UWF that we are a huge force and a team that will not be taken lightly. PWP, Cleveland, OHIO. We are here to show you the true ways of the world. The New World Order.
AA: You all heard T.M.I. come out and try to make everything fit together. You heard them try and figure it out and make scents of it all. But you see we do not, we let actions speak louder than words. You ask why so many times. Well it is simple The Illuminati gets things done with actions. You do not have to see a pattern for it to fit. We are outside of the box tearing the damn walls down. We are the ones that pave our own path in the forest and not follow the one laid out for us.
CA: This is why we are standing here outside of the Quicken Loans arena about to fight in the PWP for the UWF tag team titles. We would not sit back and wait and wait for the UWF to give us the rematch for the titles that we deserved. We continued to make them notice us and pave or own bath. That path lead us right here to the PWP. Right here in Cleveland, Ohio and ready for a street fight against T.M.I.
AA: Ladies, you are the holders of the tag titles we are after. We wanted this match and finally it was given to us. All four of us know we deserve it. Now we would have been fine with a good ole fashion title match. But Mel you asked for a street fight. I want you to remember that. I want you to remember that you are the one that brought the pain that is coming the way of T.M.I. You and you alone asked for this type of match. We do not go around asking to hurt people in matches like this, but if it needs to be done, then it will be.
The brothers begin walking slowly toward the arena.
CA: We could both sit here and tell you that we are going to destroy you. That we are going to overpower you. But we do not have to do that, because you have already come out and said what we can do. What we are capable of. I am glad that you both understand what the Illuminati is able to get down in that ring, at the same time you are the tag team champions for a reason. You have watch for months now as you the both of you continue to win match after match. Continue on the way to the titles. We knew it would be you along, we didn’t know it would be outside of the UWF ways. But here we are.
AA: Nicely put brother, but let us not forget one thing and that is the leader of the sheep has spoken and this match might even end up not a title match. You see the sheep leader himself Glenn Legend has book our opponents to fight at the PPV in a title match, just a few days before we face off against them. Trying to keep the titles that should be ours away from us. Trying to screw us once again out of the tag team titles. If he would have granted us the rematch that we wanted, he would even have been put into the spot that he is now in. That being for the first time in UWF history a title could be defended outside of the walls of UWF.
CA: Very true, because we know that T.M.I. will want to beat us as the champions. Glenn did this after we agreed not to get involved in the UWF until after this match against T.M.I. takes place in PWP. But you see title or none title, we plan on getting our jobs back. If that means taking out T.M.I. to the point that they cannot stand on their own two feet. Then so be it. If that means we have to continue destroying each and every show that the UWF puts on then so be it. One way or another we will be heard and seen in the UWF once again.
AA: Ladies we know that there is going to be a fight that you are going to bring to us. We know that you want to spoil all of the plans that we have built for the last few months. That you want to ruin our homecoming to the UWF, its going to be a knock down drag out fight. You got the heart, you got the will power. We have the strength, we have the size. It is going to come down to who wants this more. The current champions or two people that will be fighting for their jobs.
CA: I think that is a pretty simple answer without anyone even saying anything else about it. T.M.I. you better be ready to bleed. You better be ready to push your body past any limits that you thought you could. You wanted this street fight and you are going to get it. The brothers snap their fingers and now the suits are gone and the shoulders pads and fighting pants are one.
