The scene opens up with the PWP logo, which then fades into an office setting. A large, mahogany desk with a small golden sign that merely says “Francesca Coran.” On the desk is a laptop and a briefcase, but Francesca is not there. She strides into the shot from the right, moving behind the desk, and then sitting down in the chair. She takes a second, and then speaks.
Francesca Coran: Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you so much for joining me. I wanted to take this time out to address from questions and concerns that stemmed from the fallout of the previous Pro Wrestling Project Event.
She takes a second to adjust the chair, and then places her hands on the top of the desk.
Francesca Coran: Some have inquired as to why our current champion, Tala Multo was given a championship opportunity despite the fact that she was not involved in PWP prior to that event.
Frankie gives a slight nod, acknowledging the question.
Francesca Coran: The reasoning for that is simple. Ms. Multo was chosen by me personally, after reviewing her performance in the Queen of Sin battle royal for our affiliate SCW, as well as being a top performer for Pride and Honor Wrestling before it shut down. Essentially, Ms. Multo was meant to compete for the PHW championship, but that match never took place. After reminding myself of her performance during Pride and Honor Wrestling’s run, it seemed like a wise choice in terms of an opponent for then champion Chris Night. Perhaps some feel as if she is undeserving, but nonetheless PWP stands behind its decision, and acknowledges Tala Multo as it’s World champion.
Frankie pauses, and then speaks up again.
Francesca Coran: Secondly, it is my intention to announce that myself, and a team of PWP officials will chose a set of matches from the past to replay at the end of this month, and that “event” will stream for free on our website. Included in that set will be the championship contest between Multo and Night.
She smiles slightly.
Francesca Coran: Thirdly, I can now confirm that Tala Multo’s first defense will occur at PWP 18, against the number one contender, Ian Rothburn. Coupling with that information, it is my intention to announce also that Chris Night has a championship rematch that he may use, but he may not insert himself into the main event of PWP 18. We here at PWP are hoping to have quite an interesting line up for PWP 18 in January. Expect a full card line up soon. Thank you for your time.
She sits back in her chair, and the view fades back into the PWP logo, and then out.
