OPENING CONTEST - 3 WAY DANCE
SAVANNAH vs. MAXWELL SCHNEIDER vs. RYDER BLADE
At the start of the bell, both Savannah and Maxwell charged each other, hitting blow after blow to the delight of the crowd! Ryder Blade thought about joining in on the action, but suddenly thought better of it and just relaxed in the corner, a grin on his face. Maxwell took advantage with his size & strength by slamming her to the mat. He then grabs her by the hair and does so again, before training his eyes on Ryder. To Ryder’s surprise, Maxwell sneered, and then went back to attacking Savannah. Ryder snuck up behind Maxwell, and floored him with a forearm to the back of the head to give him control of the match!
In the fourth minute, Ryder tossed Savannah out of the ring, telling her that she had no place in the match, before turning around into a BIG clothesline from Maxwell! He covered Ryder...but only got two! Maxwell picked up the stunned Ryder, and then hit the ropes. On the return he went for a BIIIIG Boot, but Ryder ducked, and slid out of the ring! He pointed and yelled at Maxwell, who yelled back until he was attacked from behind by Savannah! She spun Maxwell around, kicked him in the stomach, and hit a big DDT! She then stomped away at the chest of Maxwell before dragging him to his feet.
In the sixth minute, Ryder teased entering the ring, but not before he watched Savannah hit him with a big dropkick! She went for a cover, but Ryder pulled her out before the count of one! She started to go after him but The X quickly created space between them. She rolled her eyes, and then put her focus back on Schneider. As soon as she turned her back, Ryder slid into the ring and hit her with a side suplex! He covered her, but only got two!
in the eighth minute, the tables turned! Both Maxwell and Savannah tired of Ryder’s antics, and began to double team him! Savannah kicked him in the gut, and then Maxwell followed it up with an axe handle to the back! Savannah and Maxwell then began to trade elbow drops on Ryder, each trying to outdo the other! Savannah tires of the game, and kicks Maxwell in the knee. He drops down, and she rushes him, only to get caught, and Maxwell delivers Scoop & a Slam-wich! He covers, but Savannah kicks out at two!
In the 10th minute, Maxwell rushes Ryder, catching him with a BIIIIG boot, that only nets him a two count. He then aims to do the same to Savannah, but she slides underneath the kick, then kicks him in the back of the knee. She follows it up with a short DDT! She then covers him...but only gets two! She then picks him up, and hits another...but only two! She then goes for one more, but Ryder catches her out of no-where with a superkick! She hits the mat hard, and Ryder grins widely, feeling like he has the match in the bag.
In the eleventh minute, He stalks around the rising Maxwell, and then sets him up for Edge of the Blayde, but Maxwell blocks it, and shoves him off! He runs right into Savannah, who throws a clothesline...which Ryder ducks! She stumbles forward into a BIIIIG boot from Maxwell! He turns his attention back to where he thinks Ryder is...but he’s not there! He spins around looking for him, and catches the Edge of the Blayde! Ryder then covers him...and gets the three count!
WINNER: Ryder Blade (11:45)

Singles Match (30 min time limit)
Merlot Ayano vs. Gavin Grimes
Merlot Ayano vs. Gavin Grimes
Merlot and Gavin stood toe to toe, staring each other down for a few intense moments before Merlot made the first move, striking Gavin across the face with a slap. He reeled back, and then went to strike back, but Merlot blocked it, and then hit him with a kick to the thigh. She quickly went of the offensive, backing Gavin into the corner with slaps and kicks. She then hit Gavin with a hard knee to the midsection that dropped him to his knees. She then backed away at the urging of the referee, but only for a moment as she rushed Gavin looking for the The Sorrow Bringer!
Gavin, however, moved out of the way, surprised at the aggression level of Merlot. He took a little bit to recoup, and then got back into the match.
In the fourth minute, Merlot went for a slingblade, but Gavin pushed her off. Merlot landed on her feet, and she turned right into a high angle dropkick from Gavin! He followed it up with a running elbow drop that netted him a 2 count!
In the sixth minute, Gavin hit Merlot with a tornado DDT...or at least attempted to. Merlot blocked it, and tossed Gavin over her head with a northern lights DDT! Gavin crashed into the corner, and Merlot sat up, a sick smile on her face. She then pulled him up, clutched his wrist, and executed a beautiful wrist-clutch suplex..but she only got a two count. With a grimace, she put some thought into her next move, and then let her smile grow. She grabs Gavin’s hair...but he draws her in and slams her into the turnbuckle! She crumples a bit in the corner, and Gavin gathers her into a german suplex!
In the eighth minute, Gavin managed to get firmly in control of the match. He hit her with a springboard moonsault, but only got a two count. Showing a little bit of frustration, he picked up Merlot and whipped her into the ropes. On the return, she ducked a clothesline and kept going. On the rebound, Gavin jumped up, but Merlot hit the brakes, and kicked him in the midsection as he came down! She then laid into him with kicks, and finished it up with a 540 kick that dropped the former Rose City champion! She covered...but Gavin just barely kicked out! Merlot went up to the top rope, and leapt off with a 450 splash, and it connected! She covered him...and got the three!
NO! The referee signaled that Gavin got a foot on the rope! Merlot argues with the referee, claiming that she should have won, but the referee waved her off. With a disdainful look, she turned her attention back to Gavin. Pulling him up, she crossed his arms, and then went for a straight jacket suplex...but Gavin tucked forward, a reverse O’connor roll that pinned Merlot’s shoulders to the mat!
Merlot kicked out JUST before the three count!
in the twelfth minute, Gavin setup for the kneeling variation of the Sac-Town Kick, but Merlot caught his foot, jumped up, and kicked the underside of his leg. She then grabbed him, slammed him down, and locked in the Koji clutch! Gavin struggled about, but refused vehemently when asked to give up! Merlot gripped at him tightly, but he absolutely refused. Slowly, he began to pull his body towards where he thought the ropes might be. Sensing this, Merlot then released the hold, and backed away. As Gavin got to a knee, Merlot rushed him, but he dodged the Sorrow Bringer, and pinned Merlot with a modified sunset flip, but Merlot rolled back, scooped Gavin’s legs up, pinned him, and bridged over the top of him for the three...Gavin kicking out a half second too late!
WINNER: Merlot Ayano (13:33)

PWP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Ian Rothburn vs. Tala Multo©
Ian Rothburn vs. Tala Multo©
(As was custom, PWP General Manager Francesca Coran made her way down to the ring, taking her place in a chair near the timekeepers’ table.)
A modern day warrior
Mean, mean stride
Today's Tom Sawyer
Mean, mean pride
(The sound of Rush hits over the loudspeakers, and the crowd lights up with cheers. Ian steps out from backstage, head bobbing slightly as the song kicks in, giving motions to the crowd to grow even more raucous as he waits.)
Though his mind is not for rent
Don't put him down as arrogant
His reserve, a quiet defense
Riding out the day's events
THE RIVER
(With that, Ian heads toward the ring at speed, occasionally stopping to slap hands here and there, interacting with as many fans as he possibly can before he heads to the apron, where he springs over the ropes into the ring, bounding to the middle and throwing a hand in the air. He takes a moment to give the referee and ring announcer his salutations, sometimes at length, before heading to his corner to prepare for the match.)
(There’s the sound of a clock ticking on the PA, growing steadily faster and louder - the strobes flashing rapidly in time with the ticking until suddenly it stops)
“Ang mga ghost ay hahantong sa paraan …”
(With that the opening of Two Steps From Hell’s ‘Ghost Brigade’ begins as Mister Grey walks clamly out onto the stage, he steps to the side after surveying the crowd a moment to allow Tala Multo, PWP championship around her waist, to stride past him. She stays focused on the ring as Grey follows her down, not interacting with the fans what-so-ever.
When she gets to the ring she takes the steps, walking to the center of the outside apron she holds her arms out a moment, looking away from the ring. After a moment she shrugs off her ring coat, tossing it to Mister Grey before she steps between the ropes and walks to her corner, using the ropes to stretch as she awaits the beginning of the match.)
Tyler Carrington: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following is your MAIN EVENT of the evening...and it is for the Pro Wrestling Project WOOOOOORLLLLD CHAMPIONSHIPPPPP!
(The crowd begins to cheer loudly as both Tala and Ian prepare for war.)
Tyler Carrington: To my right, ...he is the CHALLENGER...from The Roads Well Traveled, he weighs in at 218 and 3/4s of a pound...IANNNNNNN B
(Ian smiles as he is introduced.)
Tyler Carrington: And his opponent, currently residing in Augusta, Maine...weighing in at one hundred and forty five lbs and accompanied by Mister Grey, she is the Pro Wrestling Project WORLD champion… Taaaaaaaaalaaaaaaa MULTO!
(Tala merely takes off the championship. The referee, a little timidly, takes the belt from her...and after holding it alot for the audience to see, delivers it into the hands of Francesca Coran.)
After the introductions, both Ian and Tala shook hands, a very tense moment between the two. The bell rang, and they backed away from each other before circling the ring, looking for their first advantage.
Coming together, they each exchanged preliminary holds, Ian first cinching in a headlock, to Tala hooking his arm and pulling it away from her neck before sticking an elbow in his ribs. He stepped back, and moved out of the way of a jab that Tala threw his way. She tried to advance, but Ian stopped her, ducking under and putting her in a rear waistlock. She struggled to fight out of it, and the began to swing her elbow again. She struck Ian twice before the hold weakened, and she followed this up with a back kick to his right kneecap. It gave her enough space to turn around and hit Ian with a left hook that dropped the challenger. She covered, but only got two!
In the third minute, Tala backed Ian into the corner, stomping at his knee and thigh mercilessly. She gave him a reprieve only when forced by the referee. Mister Grey shouted orders to the PWP World Champion, and she went back to kicking away at Ian’s knee. Ian managed to capitalize on another forced break by the referee, using the ropes to pull himself up and hit Tala with a punch that stunned her back. He then let her attack, moving out of the way at the last minute, and allowed Tala to crash into the turnbuckle. He then loomed over her, punching her ten times, as the crowd counted along. After the tenth punch, he let her step out of the corner before hitting a judo-style hip toss. He covered, but only managed two!
In the sixth minute, Ian dropped Tala with a german suplex, but still showed favoring to his right knee, making him unable to hold the bridge. Staring at his knee for a moment, he seemed to formulate a plan. He picked her back up, and locked in another rear waistlock. Tala struggled at it, but then went to kick at Ian’s knee again. He released the hold and stepped to the side. Tala followed, and caught a kick to her side that stunned her. Ian then followed it up with a regular suplex. He pulled Tala up, then hit a side suplex...and then finished off the set with a german suplex that got the crowd going. He followed it up with a cover…
...but only got two! Mister Grey paced quietly at ringside as the match entered its eighth minute. Ian shook his head, but then dropped down and put Tala in a side headlock, giving him time to work some feeling back into his knee while he simultaneously wore down the PWP champion. Tala gritted her teeth as she tried to get back to a vertical base, but the weight of the challenger kept her down. She managed to turn Ian, however, onto his shoulders, getting a one count before Ian righted himself. She did so again, and this time the referee didn’t even get back down before Ian righted himself again. Tala struggled a bit more, and then did it one more time. Ian went to right himself again, but Tala twisted more, slipping out of his grip, and giving Ian a second to react before Tala lunged forward, smashing the crown of her head into the nose of Rothburn! Ian clutched at his nose, falling back as Tala took a little bit to catch some air. Grey began to bark orders at her again, and she rose to her feet. Rothburn, meanwhile, managed to escape the attack without bleeding, but appeared a little dazed as he tried to regain his bearings.
Nearing the ten minute mark, Tala managed to recapture advantage of the match. Focusing her attack on his knee again, she dragged Ian to the corner, and wrapped his leg around the bottom rope before torquing it from the outside, letting go right before the referee could count to five! She ignored the boos from the crowd as she got back in, and reared back; kicking Ian hard in his exposed knee. She then pulled him away and covered...but only got two!
Instead of frustration, however; a wicked smile crossed the face of Mister Grey. He summoned Tala away from the groaning challenger, and whispered something into her ear. She seemed to take a second, and Grey continued before Tala nodded and focused back on Ian. Wrapping Ian’s left leg around her own, she then grabbed Ian’s right leg, placed his left ankle on it, and then leaned back into the turnbuckle...and followed that up with capping her right leg over the ankle, completing a modified figure four! Ian yelled out in pain as the crowd booed Tala. Ian did his best to reach the ropes, but the referee determined that she was using the ropes as well, and forced Tala to break the hold!
Mister Grey quickly hopped onto the apron to argue, giving Tala a chance to lock the hold back in on Ian as the referee was distracted. As soon as she saw the referee begin to turn back, she released the hold. Pulling Ian by his bad leg, she covered him again...but he managed to get his shoulder off the mat before the three count. Tala went to lock in another figure four, but Ian reached up to grab her head. Knowing what was coming, she scrambled away, even sliding out of the ring to escape his attempt at QUANTUM ENTANGLEMENT! Ian gritted his teeth and pounded the mat, knowing that victory could have easily been had. Tala, meanwhile, looked intimidated for the first time in the match.
She slid back into the ring as the match entered its fifteenth minute and pulled Ian up to his knees. She then stepped back, and hit him with three quick kicks to the chest. She then stepped back, but before she could unleash another kick, Ian executed a front roll! The missed kick threw Tala off balance, and she slumped to the mat as Ian connected with VIM! He too, hit the mat, however; the replay showing that he’d used his bad leg on instinct. He clutched at it as Mister Grey pounded the mat to rouse his client, who hadn’t moved since the kick connected with the back of her head. Ian, fighting off the pain, crawled over, turned her on her back, and got the thre--
NO! Tala turned her shoulder off the mat right before the three count, showing her resiliency. Ian shook his head sadly, knowing that had he been a little quicker, he might’ve won the match. Both stayed on the mat, forcing the referee to begin a ten count. He ended up getting up to 8 before Ian pulled himself up to his feet. He drew upon Tala, who stopped him with a teep kick. He stumbled backward, and advanced...no! He faked it, drawing Tala to snap off a Gator kick! She did half of it, enough for Ian to rush her opposite side and take her out with a front chopblock that sent Tala flipping head over heels to the mat! She clutched at her left knee upon landing, yelling out as Mister Grey barked complaints to the referee. Ian grimaced, the manuever forcing him to put pressure on his bad leg.
In the eighteenth minute, the two began to trade blows, Ian with sharp forearms to the face, Tala retaliating with jabs. With Ian appearing to wane, Tala reared back for a left hook, but Ian stopped her cold with the Palme D’or! Tala fell back, and Ian covered for the…
TWO COUNT!
The crowd groaned along with Ian as he felt victory escape him again. He shook his head as the ring announcer exclaimed that only ten minutes remained in the match. With this realization dawning, Ian forced himself to his feet. He grabbed up Tala, and tossed her into the corner. Grabbing her head, he went for HYPERION, but Tala grabbed the top rope, forcing Ian to try and break her grip. He succeeded in doing so, but caught a teep kick for his troubles. Tala then followed up with a GATOR KICK! She went for the cover, and…
ONLY GOT TWO!
A ‘This is awesome’ chant broke out as Tala clutched at her face, frustration settling in. She looked to Mister Grey for guidance, and he appeared to give her a signal. She nodded, and backed away. She measured him, and charged...only for Ian to roll to the side! Her momentum crashed her into the turnbuckle (her own leg issues preventing her from putting on the brakes), and Ian executed an O’connor roll! ONE, TWO, TH-No, Tala kicked out! Ian shook at his leg, then shook his head. He got to his feet, switched his plant leg to his right, and waited. Tala slowly pulled herself up..but wisely turned herself to face Ian! He narrowed his eyes, and then pulled her out of the corner. He exhaled, and then grabbed her for a belly-to-belly…
...but Tala clapped his ears! She then kicked him in the bad knee again, and snapped off another GATOR KICK! Ian crumpled to the mat, and Tala managed to get a hand on his chest for the one, two, three!
WINNER: Tala Multo (24:23)
(The crowd stood in silence for a few seconds, before the bell rang and Tala’s music began to play. A mixture of applause and boos rang through the arena as Francesca calmly rose from her chair, the PWP championship in hand. Entering the ring, she waited for Tala to rise before handing her bacck the championship. She applauded her before exiting the ring, letting Tala enjoy her victory. PWP 18 went off the air with Tala, exhausted; but still the PWP Champion.)
