Name: Robb McBride (Twitter: @pridehonordse)
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 223 pounds
Hometown: Mission, B.C., Canada (billed from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada)
Alignment: Face
Pic Base: Dean Ambrose
Entrance Theme: "Sideways Attack" by Priestess
Entrance Description: "I KNOW THAT I'M GONNA BE YOUR DANGEROUS SIDE EFFECT!"
After Josh Homme belts those words out, 'Sideways Attack' hits, and (insert venue here) is plunged into darkness, quickly replaced by orange and blue strobe lights pulsing uncontrollably. As the pace slows down, smoke builds up on the stage as the strobe lights focus on a platform rising to stage level. Robb McBride is on that platform, down to one knee and facing forward through a pair of orange-tinted ski goggles.
Ring Announcer: Making his way to the ring... Weighing in at 223 pounds, FROM Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada... HE IS 'The Dangerous Side Effect'... ROOOOOOOBB MCBRIIIIIIDE!!!
The platform locks in as the drums disappear for a few seconds. Robb is now up in a crouch, still facing forward. As the drums come back, a wall of white pyro goes off behind Robb, who charges toward the ring after throwing his goggles and beanie into the crowd, trying to reach the fans.
He stops just short, then jumps onto the canvas before bouncing over the top rope, setting off gold pyro on the ring posts as he lands in the ring. From there, he bounces off the ring ropes a couple times before focusing on his opponents.
Gimmick Description: Robb McBride is humble to a fault, having learned some tough life lessons early on, and he's also very thankful for his family. He tries to give back to charities and other worthwhile causes whenever he can, and whenever he's with friends, he's always pretty quick with a joke. He tries not to be too much different in the ring than he is out of the ring, and he's the type to give credit where it's due, even if he doesn't want to.

Bio/Brief History: Growing up on Canada’s west coast, Robb McBride (real name Bryan Robson) loved nothing more than getting on a snowboard and carving up the mountains. In fact, it got to a point where he was just outside a national ranking in his mid-teens.
However, he was a young punk, and it got to the point where nobody would let him on the mountains.
Unfortunately, the ski-hill culture exposed McBride to nasty vices like drugs and alcohol. At age 18, he nearly died after overdosing on cocaethylene, a cocaine and alcohol mixture. Ever since, he hasn’t come close to any illicit substance, though he wouldn’t call himself straight-edge.
After a few years of uncertainty, McBride attended a local wrestling show with some cousins, and he figured his willingness to take risks on the hill might bode well for him in the ring.
So, McBride took up the sport, and after a couple years, he joined Diamond Elite Wrestling, a developmental territory for Phoenix Wrestling Revolution (later shortened to Phoenix Wrestling).
However, DEW quickly folded, and McBride, as the promotion’s sole champion, was called up to PWR in late 2009, only to be suspended for what turned out to be a falsified drug test result.
After taking some time away (and gaining more appreciation for what wrestling meant to him), McBride returned to PWR, quickly winning the Revolution-X Championship and holding it for months before becoming part of a plan to kill PWR, which he subsequently abandoned out of guilt because of what the promotion had done for him (most notably, betraying the likes of Tj Jones and Arkia Fisk-Jones), resulting in a nearly year-long hiatus.
During this time, his personal life changed. He married his long-time girlfriend, Lindsay Theriault, in 2010, and became a father for the first time when Cecilia Jade Robson was born in the summer of 2011.
He returned for his final PW run around the time Cecilia was born, capturing his first (and only) World Championship. However, McBride’s time in Phoenix Wrestling came to an abrupt end in September 2011 after administration ordered him to leave.
After three years away, McBride returned to the ring with ALPHA Entertainment in the summer of 2014, frequently stealing the show with high-profile matches against the likes of Myke Adams and Ahalya Patel before ALPHA closed its doors.
Now 30, McBride is trying to continue rebuilding himself, not to mention provide for the family he would do anything for.
He’s been around long enough to know respect is earned, not given, and he’s ready to work his way up the ladder once again.
Accomplishments (Optional): Phoenix Wrestling - 1x World Champion, 2x Revolution-X Champion; Diamond Elite Wrestling (PW development territory) - 1x Destiny Champion
